Last year our foodbanks provided 10,220 emergency food parcels - more than any other time in our history - and as a charity we have seen a significant increase in the number of people who are facing food and household poverty.

Your support is needed now more than ever to ensure no one in our district faces hunger, a home without heat or hot water, or no bed to sleep on.

Thanks to the community's help we operate 17 weekly foodbank sessions, with those living in the outskirts of the district served by a specially adpated mobile foodbank. Alongside the practical support of food and energy vouchers, we can also offer budgeting and benefits advice, advocacy and signposting. 

As well as food poverty we aim to tackle social isolation and run a weekly community cafe where food is subsidised or free to those who cannot pay, bringing the community together to help build social networks and end loneliness.

We also provide essential household items such as a clean bed and mattress to those moving into new accommodation after homelessness.
